Residence Service Supervisor (Nights)

Salary: Grade 3 (£22,214 to 23,144 p.a.)

Essential: A full current valid driving licence (for manual vehicles) and recent driving experience with the ability to drive in a safe and appropriate manner.

Residential Services provides accommodation for around 8,500 University of Leeds students in self-catered and catered sites, both on and off campus. We also provide facilities for meetings and conferences. We are an innovative service with a clear vision to provide some of the country’s best student accommodation.

We are seeking an approachable, customer-focused individual to join our team. You will have significant experience working in a front-line customer service environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a wider team. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality front-line reception services, undertaking minor repair and maintenance tasks, conducting site audits, and supervising external contractors in line with our Service Level Agreements.

Residence staff are required to provide a flexible service, working at various Residence locations as needed. You will be based at one location but should be prepared to work at any of the other Residential Services sites. The role involves driving a Residential Services vehicle, so a full, current valid driving licence (manual vehicles) and recent driving experience are necessary.

The standard shift pattern for this role is 4 days on, 4 days off, with 10-hour shifts and a 1-hour unpaid break. The position also requires a Basic Disclosure Check.
