Job description

Pay rate: £12.54-£13.50/hr, depending on shift location. Various Shifts: to be discussed at interview. Location: Various locations supporting multiple retail client's sites.

Job Overview

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (but in some circumstances training for a licence can be provided).

Responsibilities

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To deter violence and public order offences
• To conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the store management teams
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnership where required to foster a good working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support crime reduction and increase colleague and customer safety

Qualifications

• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history required.
• Preferable to hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates; training can be provided where required.
