Overview

Warrior Park care home, Seaton Carew TS25 1EZ

Registered Nurse – DAYS, 44 hours per week

Salary: £20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assess all aspects of client care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required.
  • Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessments and reviews of all other clients.
  • Ensure client care plans are completed and maintained in collaboration with clients, relatives, other health care professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
  • Administer prescribed medicines and document in accordance with company procedures and NMC guidelines.
  • Practice maximum integrity in dealings with clients' personal and financial affairs and uphold the privileged relationship with clients.
  • Supervise and instruct junior and new staff in all aspects of their work, providing help and guidance where appropriate.
  • Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site as required.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team, and provide administrative support when required.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and practising privileges.
  • Ability to work in line with NMC guidelines and Harbour Healthcare policies.
  • Enhanced DBS check required (in relation to children and adults).
