About Bispham Gardens

Bispham Gardens is a 52-bed care home, expanded with 24 new rooms in early 2021, situated in a peaceful residential area of Blackpool. The home provides nursing, residential, dementia, respite, and end-of-life care within a warm, welcoming environment. Facilities include spacious en-suite rooms, accessible bathrooms, landscaped gardens, a hair salon, and even a cinema room.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager with an active NMC PIN to take on the role of Registered Manager at Bispham Gardens. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of clinical and operational care, regulatory compliance, and resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible, professional leadership to staff, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and Glenholme Healthcare policies, ensuring the home remains inspection-ready at all times.
  • Oversee clinical governance, audits, risk assessments, and care planning.
  • Promote a strong culture of learning and professional development across the team.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community.
  • Ensure the activities and wellbeing programme supports residents\' physical, social, and emotional needs.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively, balancing quality with operational efficiency.
Essential Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a current, active NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager of a nursing home.
  • Demonstrable experience as a senior leader in a nursing home environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and governance requirements.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a person-centred, empowering environment for residents and staff.
  • Evidence of improving CQC outcomes and care quality.
  • Knowledge of dementia and end-of-life care best practices.
