We’re not about selling products — we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo.

About our Customer Operations Hiring Team:

We’re a large team that hires and onboard teams within Customer Operations, Financial Crime, Fraud and Disputes. We hire those on the Customer Service front line, their support teams and Senior Leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Predominantly hire large volumes of candidates for Customer Operations positions across Financial Crime, Fraud and Disputes teams.
  • Screen CVs, review answers to application questions, conduct video interviews with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Proactively source talent (e.g., LinkedIn, referrals, connections with other companies affected by redundancies) and adapt attraction plans to find great talent for Monzo.
  • Provide helpful, developmental feedback to internal and external candidates.
  • Build lasting relationships with Hiring Managers and support with enabling creative hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers, Workforce Planning, Training and Onboarding to define hiring plans and onboarding dates.
  • Foster diversity and inclusiveness and ensure an amazing candidate experience.
  • Be data-driven, report on campaign success, and present insights to Operations management teams.
  • Recruit at high volume with prior recruitment experience and strong interview/assessment skills.
  • Able to assess candidates based on skills rather than solely on job titles or qualifications.
  • Operate with autonomy, meet deadlines and targets, and contribute to a world-class interviewing and onboarding experience.
  • Show passion for Monzo and act as a brand ambassador; collaborate with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bonus: experience in FinCrime/Fraud/Disputes or closely related areas is advantageous.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a Recruiter role recruiting at high volume.
  • Experience interviewing and assessing candidates; able to identify the required skills beyond job titles or qualifications.
  • Strong collaboration, empathy, adaptability and respect for candidates’ needs and priorities.
  • Comfortable with data-driven reporting and presenting insights to management.
What’s in it for you
  • Flexible working hours with trust to manage your schedule and ensure your work gets done.
  • £1,000 learning budget each year for books, training courses and conferences.
  • Support for your work-from-home setup, including MacBooks for remote employees.
