A local recording studio in Belfast is seeking a Recording Engineer to work on audio recordings for various artists. THE EMPLOYER IS: FALLS COMMUNITY COUNCIL - AMPS STUDIOAs a Recording Engineer, you will work with artists to record audio of voice overs, instrumentals, vocals and more, as well as edit the recordings to achieve the desired results. Successful applicant will be AccessNI checked.

Responsibilities
  • Creation of client project file structure.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with customers/artists/performers and presenters.
  • Record artists vocals, instrumentals percussion and strings.
  • Capture multi-track recordings.
  • Edit multi-track recording.
  • Follow studio practices and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
Skills and Qualifications
  • L3 qualification in Sound - Music Technology or 3 years experience of working as an Recording Engineer or a similar position.
  • Ability to record vocals and instruments.
  • Maintenance of studio resources.
  • Adhere to work place protocols at all times.
  • Open to training progression both in house on off site.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Previous experience of working as a receptionist or a similar position.
