Overview

Radiology Assistant working within the ultrasound departments at University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and City of Coventry Health Centre. Providing support to patients and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations.
• Coordinate the movement of inpatients with porters.
• Clean scan rooms and manage stock control.
• Work as part of a large clinical team across multiple sites, providing support to Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department.

Qualifications and requirements

• Shift pattern over a 7-day week (Sun-Sat).
• Essential: enjoy working with people, good communication, ability to work as part of a team and also use own initiative to work independently.
• Immunisation and vaccination report required from UK occupational health provider or UK GP.
• Sponsorship is not eligible for this post.
• Interviews are due to take place on 16 October.
• This position is restricted to female applicants only under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to a Genuine Occupational Requirement.
