Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Specs and QAS’s are up to date for production.
  • Complete GMP audits and act on findings.
  • Raise and investigate non-conformances.
  • Conduct periodic calibration and testing as required.
  • Control and issue knives and scissors.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming and finished goods.

Quality Assurance Assistant

Up to £27,838 per annum

Complete Co-packing Services, Abercynon is recruiting a dedicated and detail orientated Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team. Currently working a rotating 2-shift pattern of mornings and afternoons but this could change to 3 shift to include nights. As this role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards for our customers, the ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of HACCP principles, contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all Specs and QAS’s are up to date and available to production.
  • Complete and close out GMP audits to schedule and action of NCR’s.
  • Raising and investigating non-conformances.
  • Ensure Swabbing (ATP) and Data loggers are carried out at the correct intervals.
  • Calibration of scales daily (once per shift).
  • Weekly calibration of temperature probes.
  • pH and Brix testing and any other testing required.
  • Issuing and control of knives and scissors.
  • Complete Glass and Plastic audits to schedule and action any issues that arise from the audit.
  • Quality control of all product being produced and paperwork checks.
  • Incoming and finished goods checks.
  • Control of returns on hold.
  • Reviewing/validating pre and post hygiene swabbing.
  • Auditing of all CCP’s.
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of our BRCGS and IMS Management Systems.

  • Reduction of Non-conformances from internal factory audits.
  • Reduction of complaints – Quality of incoming and outgoing products.
