Job summary

A tech and consulting firm in Greater London is seeking a Python Developer with expertise in full-stack development. You will work on designing and deploying web applications using Flask and FastAPI, ensuring they are efficient and scalable. Knowledge of SQL and experience with RESTful APIs are essential. Candidates with prior security clearance are preferred, as clearance will be required before appointment. The contract is for 3 months, with some travel to the site in London.

Python Developer - SC Cleared

A Python developer is required. You will have experience of full-stack development on the following technologies: Python, Flask, RestAPI, FastAPI.

Responsibilities

• Utilise the Flask/FastAPI framework to design, develop and deploy web applications to AWS.
• Ensure the applications are efficient, scalable, and reusable.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Ensure the front‑end design aligns with the overall user experience and goals.
• Optimize SQL/Geospatial queries.

Good to Have

• Docker, Celery, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, asyncio, pytest, Node.js.

Contract Details

The contract is for 3 months initially inside IR35. There will be some travel to the site a couple of times per month in London.
