Job summary

A local company in Scotland seeks an individual for a part-time role with responsibilities in accounts payable processing, customer account maintenance, and sales support. Training in bespoke software will be provided, and good keyboard skills are necessary. The position offers 14 hours per week along with some holiday cover.

Qualifications

  • Training will be provided in bespoke software used in the company.
  • A good knowledge of document production and use of spreadsheets is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable for bills and incoming goods.
  • Maintain customer accounts and manage credit control.
  • Support the sales team with quotes, orders, and invoicing.
  • Ensure order fulfilment with customers and production staff.
  • Perform general admin duties including filing.

Overview

Tuesday and Wednesday. 14 hours per week + some holiday cover where required.

Purchasing
  • Accounts payable processing of bills and incoming goods
  • Payment run set up
Accounts Receivable
  • Customer accounts maintenance
  • Customer statements
  • Credit control
  • General accounts maintenance and admin
Sales
  • Sales support to sales team
  • Prepare quotes, orders, delivery notes and invoices for customers
  • Liaise with customers regarding their requirements and order fulfilment
  • Liaise with our production staff re fulfilment of orders
  • General admin duties such as filing

  • Good keyboard skills – training will be provided in our bespoke CRM software
