Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our Tenbury based client is seeking an experience Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a fulltime, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the confidence to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.


What you can expect


  • Salary - Negotiable dependant on experience

  • Workings hours: 8.30-5pm Full time with some flexibility on start and finish times

  • Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays


What you will be doing


  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices utilising an electronic accounting software

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to address queries regarding invoices in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, reconcile supplier statements

  • Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as required


What we are looking for


  • Accounts payable/purchase ledger experience essential

  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Familiarity with electronic accounting software and proficiency in MS Office/Excel

  • Strong communication skills
