Overview
You will work as part of an integrated 0-25 team and will be required to support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. You will also be responsible for supporting the universal partnership and partnership plus families. We work closely with our commissioners and partners to deliver the best possible services for the children, young people and families.
Responsibilities
- Support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within the 0-25 service.
- Support universal partnership and partnership plus families.
- Collaborate with commissioners and partners to deliver high-quality services for children, young people and families.
- Contribute to public health and safeguarding activities as part of the role.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and forward-thinking nurse with a desire to make a difference to children and their families.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- In-depth knowledge of the current health agenda relating to children’s services is essential.
- Some experience of working in a community environment is beneficial; a preceptorship programme is available and ongoing support is provided.
- We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified nurses; regular appraisal and safeguarding supervision are in place.
- English language ability to meet Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016; provide evidence in your application of how you meet this requirement if you have not studied at an English-speaking institute.
