Overview

Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust is a Top Employer Award winner and works in partnership to provide responsive and dependable primary care, mental health, intellectual disability and substance misuse services to diverse communities. We are recruiting a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Psychological Therapist to join our forward-thinking, expanding Mental Health Team at HMP Woodhill. We provide a wide range of therapies and work with partners to deliver timely and trauma-informed systems of care. You will be joining an established MDT that includes nursing, psychiatry, assistant psychologists, clinical psychologists, art therapy, occupational therapy and neurodiversity practitioners, contributing to meeting the needs of our diverse population and providing high-quality group and individual therapies while helping develop and promote inclusive and trauma-informed pathways of care.

We are keen to recruit a confident and compassionate Psychological Therapist with expertise in delivering high-intensity therapy, to join our team. You will be a clinician with experience of working with complex needs and a real passion for supporting some of the most vulnerable in society. You should work well with a range of professions within the established MDT and with wider prison staff, respecting and integrating varying opinions and approaches to achieve the best outcomes. A clinical interest in trauma-informed approaches and working with complex psychological needs would be advantageous.

By joining CNWL’s Health & Justice Directorate you will be part of a large department of psychologists and psychological therapists providing a variety of mental health and OPD services across London, Surrey, Kent and Bucks. All staff receive regular supervision and support with career aspirations and progression.
