Join Schroders as a Proposition Marketing Manager, Private Markets in the Schroders Capital Marketing team and help execute innovative campaigns that enhance our brand's presence in growing and dynamic private markets sector. The ideal candidate is an emerging marketing professional with a solid background in delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns. You will play a key role in supporting our growth strategy within private markets by crafting targeted marketing initiatives at both the brand and capability level for Schroders Capital and its specialised investment strategies, ensuring they resonate with professional investors across institutional and wealth segments.

You will work closely with key stakeholders within Schroders Capital, such as the business development team and the experts in our wider marketing team. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will collaborate with business development, investment teams, regional hubs and the central marketing team to tailor campaigns, while maintaining consistency and excellence in execution across markets.

As a crucial member of our team, you will analyse market trends and competitor landscapes to contribute to compelling campaigns. The team

As part of the Schroders Capital Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in bolstering the sales team's efforts. Our small yet highly focused team possesses expertise in key marketing capabilities, including events, content, digital media, and public relations. We collaborate closely to create integrated marketing campaigns that enhance our brand and support sales enablement across various investment strategies within Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt and Credit Alternatives. As Schroders Capital expands, this represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our private markets division, providing investors with access to diverse investment opportunities and customisedstrategies.

What you'll do

  • Campaign Leadership & Execution: Lead and drive the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple regions and alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate closely with all relevant stakeholders, within Schroders Capital but also the Central Planning and Production team, to ensure campaign success.
  • Initiative Leadership: Spearhead initiatives that enhance brand recognition for Schroders Capital and empower sales enablement for identified investment strategies, ensuring impactful messaging and execution.
  • Regional Collaboration: Lead efforts to engage with regional hubs and central marketing teams to tailor campaigns for different markets while maintaining brand and narrative consistency across all platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, especially the Head of Content & Engagement and the Private Markets Business Development team, to ensure campaigns align with their needs, adhere to regulatory standards, and drive prioritisation and successful delivery. In addition align and inform the central marketing teams where relevant such as the Proposition Marketing team and the Planning and Production team.
  • Campaign Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop automated dashboards that track the effectiveness of marketing activities. Use key performance metrics to provide actionable insights that inform future strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Event Proposition and Narrative Leadership: Partner closely with the Senior Event Marketing Lead and Head of Content & Engagement to define the events proposition and narrative. Take the lead in coordinating the central third-party and owned event schedule for Private Markets, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and driving successful execution.
  • Campaign Asset Coordination: Lead collaboration with various marketing teams within Schroders Capital and the Central Planning & Production team to oversee the delivery of relevant campaign assets, including thought leadership pieces, product content, videos, and digital materials that support the campaign's goals.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Understanding of two or more private markets investment areas: private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and/or private debt/credit.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end marketing campaigns, particularly production and execution across multiple channels.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to help develop and execute tailored marketing plans for private markets.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to effectively convey our brand message to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders, leveraging connections to enhance our presence in the private market's ecosystem.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing marketing campaigns, particularly in B2B marketing environments.
  • Exposure to delivering global or multi-regional campaigns, adapting strategies to different markets.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional hubs.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools, including content management systems and analytics tools.
  • Overall understanding of marketing disciplines, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
