Job summary

A recruitment agency in Southampton is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in the governance and reporting of projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate activities, perform data analysis, and liaise with senior stakeholders. The role requires experience in SharePoint and MS Project. This is a full-time, temporary position offering £14.46 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in document management and site updates.

Overview

Project Support Officer needed in Southampton, £14.46ph PAYE – 5278293

29.6hrs per week (Monday to Thursday)

Responsibilities
  • To support and develop the governance and reporting of projects and programmes for the Projects and Change team, including co-ordination of project activities and controls, data analysis & presentation, and ad hoc support as required by the role.
  • Working with Project and Programme Managers and other team members to produce and collate documents in a timely manner.
  • To support the team in the planning of projects and programmes, including research, benchmarking and baselining.
  • Facilitate the delivery of key project and programme meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, writing accurate minutes and actions and tracking actions.
  • To proactively monitor project actions and progress, including appropriate escalations, or where possible, proactive resolution of issues.

You will ideally be –

  • Organised individual with good attention to detail for reporting and planning co-ordination
  • Comfortable and competent to communicate, support and co-ordinate with senior level stakeholders across multiple organisations
  • Experienced and capable in Sharepoint (reporting, document management and site updates) , MS Project/Planner and Office 365

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
