Job description
Overview

We at VEA are looking for a Project Planner to join our team in Stockport.

The Project Planner will play a key role in managing and coordinating every stage of the development process from the initial proposal through to project completion. This includes preparing project plans, gathering and reviewing information, evaluating bids, negotiating with vendors, and supporting site preparation and construction oversight.

You will work closely with the Development team to ensure all site plans, drawings, and access control documents are accurate and complete. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses, while also coordinating with other departments as required.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00 (hybrid options may be available).

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate Intrusive Survey projects to teams and contractors.
  • Liaise with teams throughout project execution.
  • Develop and manage production schedules.
  • Estimate budgets, costs, material requirements, and labour needs.
  • Streamline processes to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding schedules and potential changes.
  • Apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to practical project challenges.
  • Oversee all project phases from proposal to completion.
  • Coordinate with developers to verify accuracy of site plans, drawings, and access control documents.
