Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure business, supporting water projects and programmes across the Midlands.

Due to the complex nature of the projects, this role is suited for Project Managers with a civil engineering background and water sector experience. NEC accreditation is preferred.

Project Managers at Turner & Townsend handle commissions of varying sizes, typically between £1m and £10m, depending on complexity. Supporting roles may involve larger projects.

1. Lead Project Management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
2. Support major commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
3. Ensure client objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred).
• Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, etc., preferred.
• Degree qualification in a construction-related subject is ideal.

Key Performance Indicators

• Projects are managed to quality standards and completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Project delivery aligns with client objectives and contractual conditions.
• Effective leadership of project teams.
• Strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Effective line management where applicable.
• Business development with existing and new clients, including cross-selling.
• Financial monitoring of projects.
• Effective communication and data management.
