About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our growing team.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, timeline, and budget management.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders at all levels to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and progress.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Make informed decisions that influence project outcomes, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Handle complex challenges related to project scope and resources, requiring advanced problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and processes within the organisation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
