Overview

The Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of business-critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Working within the organisation’s established project framework, the Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of initiatives – from inception to completion – ensuring alignment with business strategy, operational requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery – Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Planning & Scheduling – Develop and maintain robust project plans, resource schedules, and milestones, coordinating across teams to achieve delivery commitments.
  • Risk & Issue Management – Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, maintaining RAID logs and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Budget & Reporting – Monitor project costs, track variances, and support accurate forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring progress is transparent and expectations are managed.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement – Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards, contributing to lessons learned and improvement initiatives within the PMO.
Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery.
  • Knowledge of structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Proficiency with business improvement tools and techniques.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience in the facilities management sector.
  • Exposure to programme or transformation environments.
