A technology engineering company based in the United Kingdom is seeking a Performance Sub-Systems Project Engineer. Responsibilities include delivering advanced technology subsystems, driving technical direction, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Candidates should have experience in complex electrical equipment, stakeholder engagement, and project lifecycle involvement. A UK Security Clearance is required for this role, and the position comes with a competitive salary of up to £60,000 P/A plus excellent benefits.

The Performance Sub-Systems Project Engineer will be responsible for delivery of the Data-Logging and Monitoring Sub-System (DLM) and the Image Processing and Control Processing Unit Sub-System (IPPU). The DLM is an assembly of equipment responsible for the collection and monitoring of system operational performance. The IPPU is a single piece of equipment responsible for the processing and control of imagery captured by sensors outside the IPPU sub system boundary. These sub-systems will be housed in another sub system so the understanding of assembly, integration, test, and certification boundaries would be desirable.
Reporting to a Head of Equipment as part of a wider Chief Design Engineer’s organisation; this role will be focused on the hardware delivery and physical certification aspects of these systems. An understanding of how functional software is integrated to these equipment items would be desirable.
