Overview

The Project Coordinator will assist the project management team in the overall direction, coordination and execution of people, resources, and processes to ensure all projects are delivered on time and produced to company and client standards. Duties will include:

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in the planning of projects by setting and managing timelines and coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Obtain customer approval for timelines and monitor the process through to completion.
  • Track project deliverables using ERP system and internal team communication.
  • Provide necessary client and vendor updates during weekly department scheduling and production meetings.
  • Input customer Purchase Orders into the ERP system.
  • Ensure project delivery dates are maintained and accurate within the ERP system.
  • Monitor projects throughout the manufacturing process to ensure customer expectations are met and communicate any concerns to the team.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings.
Qualifications
  • A College Diploma in Project Management/Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a metal and/or wood manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with reading shop drawings.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude toward teamwork and strong relational skills.
  • Sound decision making abilities.
  • Resourceful and a problem solver.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to establish & manage priorities with a drive to complete assigned tasks.
