Overview

We have a new opportunity for a qualified Project Architect to join a multidisciplinary design team working on a range of residential and commercial projects across the Northwest and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, planning-led environment, with access to in-house expertise in master-planning, urban design, landscape, and infrastructure.

The practice is part of a wider group known for its people-first, employee-owned culture and commitment to design quality and staff development. You'll be joining a supportive team with a strong CPD programme, clear career progression pathways, and the opportunity to work on projects from concept through to site.

Responsibilities
  • Leading projects across all RIBA stages, from early concept to construction
  • Producing detailed architectural drawing packages, specs, and construction documentation
  • Chairing meetings and recording actions
  • Acting as contract administrator (JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic contracts)
  • Carrying out site inspections and ensuring technical compliance
  • Liaising with internal teams and external consultants to drive quality outcomes
Requirements
  • Is a fully qualified Architect with UK project experience
  • Has delivered projects in both the residential and commercial sectors
  • Can manage multiple stakeholders and communicate confidently
  • Is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (SketchUp desirable)
  • Has strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction and delivery
  • Is commercially aware and confident working to budgets and deadlines
  • Holds a full UK driving license
