Programme Test & QA Lead | £400-£500 | Outside IR35 | 6 Months | Hybrid Remote

We're recruiting a strategic, Programme Test & QA Lead to embed quality early and coordinate testing across a complex, multi‑project programme. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping test approach, managing cross‑project dependencies, identifying risks early, and coordinating testing activities across internal teams, delivery partners, and the business.

This 6‑month initial contract is determined as Outside IR35, offers a daily rate between £400 and £500 per day and requires 3 days onsite in Nottingham as a non‑negotiable.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as Test Lead / QA Lead on large, multi‑project programmes
  • Expertise in defining test strategy and coordinating cross‑system testing
  • Ability to assure requirements, acceptance criteria, and readiness checkpoints
  • Skilled in planning environments, data, and tooling for delivery dependencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and early risk identification skills
  • Experience with end‑to‑end, integration, regression, and UAT testing
  • Familiarity with quality governance frameworks, standards, and reporting
  • Comfortable working at pace in complex, change‑driven environments
  • Experience coordinating internal teams and third‑party suppliers
  • Willingness to commute to Nottingham 3 days per week for onsite work
