Overview

We are looking for a Programme Lead for a 12-month contract based in Bristol on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet’s vital power needs. Please note this position is going to be hybrid.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a prime interface for Rolls-Royce’s Transport & Legacy customers from the point of quotation to contract close-out and involved in all aspects in-between.
  • Own the creation, commitment, communication, and daily management of an integrated programme plan for engine delivery programmes within the value stream.
  • Review task progress against committed plans to identify when corrective action is required.
  • Own and manage programme risk, finances, and scheduling.
  • Support new work proposal submissions, integrating with purchasing and commercial as required.
  • Work with Engineering Technical Leads and Programme Managers/Leads to prioritise, resource, and govern packages of work in support of OE & Aftermarket programme delivery.
  • Work alongside New Material and Quality teams to manage arising quality and/or hardware issues.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing projects with multiple key stakeholders
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of good planning practices
  • APM or Prince2 qualification (already obtained, working towards, or willing to work towards)
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools, risk management tools, Kanbanize, and SAP
