Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dual-Skilled Production Support Engineer to join our thriving UK Medical Device Manufacturing Company to work within our expanding Engineering Department.

We are looking to recruit a Dual Skill Engineer to form a team of four Engineers on a rotating shift pattern. This team will be responsible for providing primary electrical support for the production machines on the site.

Responsibilities
  • Fault finding, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), installations and upgrades to circuitry in addition to mechanically supporting breakdowns as and when required.
  • All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations whilst adhering to the latest Health and Safety Regulations and best practices.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
  • Electrically biased Multi Skill Engineering Qualifications (Level 3 Apprenticeship) or equivalent
  • Experience of automated production environment
  • Strong Health and Safety knowledge
  • Strong relationship building qualities
  • Understanding of working in a controlled environment
  • Ability to manage downtime and priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to modify machine wiring
  • Ability to read engineering drawings electrically and mechanically
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
  • Injection Moulding
  • Knowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practices

  • Rotating 24hour shift pattern
