Overview

This position is responsible for developing schedules for battery activation, battery boosting and finishing in line with customer expectations. This role will interface heavily with production and sales to determine priorities while working within capacity constraints.

Responsibilities
  • Review sales forecast data, customer supplied quotes and actuals sales orders to determine the most efficient operating schedule in the battery activation, battery boosting, DC finishing lines and case formation.
  • Limit changeovers and create a cohesive plan that allows for the shortest amount of time to change over between runs.
  • Monitor and cycle count inventory of finishing purchased parts
  • Supply purchasing requests to Procurement for replacement/ inventory stock of finishing purchased parts
  • Analyze forecasts and production plan to determine where course corrections may be necessary
  • Other reporting and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service or Planning experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with BC a plus.
  • Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.

  • Attention to detail and owning the results
  • Comfort with working with large data sets, looking for trends and outliers
  • Demonstrated problem solving and forecasting
  • Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology
