Our client, based in South Cambridge, is looking for a Production Operative to join their team.

Job Description

Working at their yard, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm) this is a long‑term position for someone keen to develop their career in the timber industry.

Our client is looking for someone who is keen to learn industry processes and plenty of training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

To be suitable for the role, candidates will need to have the following skills:

• A good level of basic Maths
• Tidy and methodical in your approach to work
• Good practical and mechanical skills

The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player and must enjoy working outside in all weathers. There is heavy lifting required in the role and candidates will need to be physically fit to be suitable for the role, able to carry out manual handling requirements. Due to the location, and needs of the role, candidates must have a full UK drivers licence.
