Job summary

A specialist engineering firm in Amesbury is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to bridge design and manufacturing. In this role, you'll support the manufacture of complex assemblies and ensure new designs meet production standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. This position offers the opportunity to shape critical systems from design through to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Engineer in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience across engineering and production support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and integration of systems.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture of complex mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure production readiness.
• Provide training and technical support to production staff.
