Job description
Overview

Inflo is seeking a Product Manager (PM) to join the Workpapers Solutions department. This role will report to the Head of Working Papers Solutions (HoWS). The PM will use their direct experience in external audit, and Inflo product expertise, to add value for all stakeholders both external and internal. They must understand current and future needs of customers and prospects, advocate for them, and support them through new or complex product matters. They will help steer the vision and long-term direction of their product domain(s), by iteratively scoping and designing product changes and gathering key feedback on these changes. They will collaborate with all software and service delivery teams, and with the wider business to ensure a well-informed cohort surrounds the product. This role is pivotal in enhancing the user experience and quality of audit engagements using our software, and to help ensure continued alignment with industry practices and workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the current and future requirements of customers, key prospects, and 'target list' firms through a combination of outbound and inbound activities, including reviewing suggestions, questions and tickets raised direct from users, seeking pre-release and post-release feedback, organising workshops and experimentation such as A/B testing, liaising internally with colleagues and other stakeholders, leveraging data from product usage (using SQL for rich customised data), and leveraging discovery sessions with target customers.
  • Identify, directly or via internal teams, any product challenges our customers/prospects are facing and any blockers from getting optimal use of our products.
  • Support on complex product matters, including providing 2nd line support on escalated support tickets, and triaging bugs/investigations to Product Owners.
  • Advocate for customer requirements and propose product enhancements or changes by designing wireframes which ensure accordance with relevant regional standards, workflows, and industry best practice.
  • Prepare and maintain release notes and product guidance with clear & timely communication to relevant audiences.
  • Own, analyze and monitor key defined metrics for usage of products and take timely action to address any identified issues (and even reaching out to thank promoters). Key metrics include: NPS score for customers; # of support tickets per engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Implementation Services (AIS) team to review and monitor the learning and development approach and materials they develop and use, specifically to ensure accuracy on product functionality and appropriate usage.
  • Work directly with the Marketing department to assist with content creation where product knowledge is needed. Support conversations about product pricing, positioning, and marketing.
  • Contribute to whitepapers and webinars about product enhancements and representing Inflo at industry conferences.
  • Continuously evaluate and help improve product team workflows to align with best practices and organizational goals.
  • Experienced in external audit of financial statements, with knowledge of auditing and accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB and Quality Management/Control standards).
  • Strong communicator, with an ability to adapt and collaborate in an innovative team, and able to relay detailed information to a variety of audiences.
  • Be a critical thinker, able to apply sound logical reasoning to all your decision making based on available data.
  • Confidence to challenge and defend product approaches externally.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to work cross-functionally.
  • ACA or equivalent certification, Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Desired: product design/development exposure.
  • Product Manager/Product Owner qualification or equivalent.
  • SAAS or web applications background.
  • Audit experience to include client-facing portfolio management.
