Overview

Tax Manager/Senior Manager, Transactions Tax – Location: Reading (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager or Senior Manager with proven experience in transactions tax and relevant exposure to due diligence and M&A tax advisory. The successful candidate will join a thriving tax practice, providing expert advice to a diverse client base that includes owner-managed businesses, mid-market private equity funds, and international corporate groups. This role provides a challenging yet rewarding environment for transactions tax and advisory work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and advise on a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, reorganizations, and MBOs.
  • Conduct tax due diligence and provide international tax and employment-related securities advice.
  • Collaborate closely with our award-winning Corporate Finance and transaction diligence teams.
  • Contribute to training and marketing initiatives.
Essential Requirements
  • ACA or CTA qualification with demonstrable corporate tax technical skills, particularly in transactions tax.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A collaborative and proactive team player.
