How you\'ll make an impact

At Zühlke, you will work to ensure the success of our financial services clients\' strategic technology transformation initiatives and modernisation programmes.

• As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with key decision makers at our banking and financial services clients, providing deep insight and expert guidance to help them make the right technology choices.
• As a Solution Architect, you will design architectures for large, complex applications and lead their implementation from concept to go-live, ensuring technical excellence and business impact.

Your work will make a real difference - helping customers succeed with their most critical software projects. Working closely with both IT and business leaders, you will develop a deep understanding of their specific domains, requirements and challenges. This enables you to act as a strategic partner at eye level, bringing innovative ideas with conviction and shaping the future of technology for financial services.

At Zühlke, you will contribute to the development of our financial services business by working closely with our UK market unit team to identify and cultivate new opportunities with existing clients and new prospects. Looking forward, you will be at the heart of a growing team of software engineers, architects and consultants focused on solutions for the financial services industry.

What is important to us

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and many years of experience as a software engineer and architect in the enterprise financial services environment.
• You are a hands-on consultant who uses his extensive software engineering knowledge to drive strategic decisions with stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines and levels.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly banking or insurance, and a strong personal network of contacts with customers and partners.
• You understand the value of personal relationships and enjoy being with your clients and colleagues. A hybrid working model with 2-3 days on site at the client’s or Zühlke’s offices is natural for you.
• You are inquisitive and constantly learning about the application of new technology trends in your focus area, such as AI, Blockchain or Cloud Computing.
