We are seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Advisor / Scientist, ideally in our Newcastle, Leeds or Reading office, but applicants from elsewhere in the UK will be considered. Part-time working will be considered for suitable candidates. This is a good opportunity to join an ambitious team with potential for career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Support and assist in delivering project environmental objectives and targets.
  • Assist the EIA and environmental management teams by conducting environmental planning reports, EIAs, environmental management studies and audits.
  • Manage environmental and sustainability issues alongside project work.
About You
  • Ideally hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Science or Environmental Planning that is accredited by the relevant professional body (CIWEM, IEMA or RTPI).
  • Demonstrate capability as an Environmental Advisor with knowledge of EIAs, environmental management studies and audits.
  • Experience in analysing and presenting data using a geographic information system (GIS).
  • General knowledge of ecology, flood risk, town planning or water resources would be beneficial.
