A construction consultancy is seeking a Principal Designer and CDM Advisor in Birmingham. In this role, you will manage health and safety during pre-construction phases and liaise with project teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in health and safety regulations and project management. Benefits include a salary of £55k-£70k, car allowance, and healthcare.
Principal Designer and CDM Advisor required to join a multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate Health and Safety in pre-construction phases of projects; including identifying, eliminating or controlling foreseeable risks and ensuring designers carry out their duties. This regional role supplies service to clients primarily across the Midlands, with an office in Birmingham. You will have responsibility for managing your own projects - being the key interface between and liaising with the Client Teams, Design Teams, Principal Contractors, and others.
Extensive background in delivering both Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor roles. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction sector, reinforced by hands-on site experience. You will have sufficient experience to enable you to manage, with support, your own workload and project deliverables.
