Overview

We are looking for a committed and flexible Primary Teacher with strong Maths teaching experience to join our hospital school team in Southwark and Bromley. This is a rewarding full-time role within a unique educational setting, where you ll be supporting pupils managing physical or mental health conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching a broad primary curriculum, with a focus on Maths
  • Supporting students primarily in the classroom, with occasional teaching on hospital wards
  • Confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with pupils with a wide range of needs
  • Collaborating with clinical and educational teams to ensure the best outcomes for learners
Role details
  • Full-time Primary Teacher (No requirement for SEN training)
  • Start date: Trial Day as soon as possible to start 07 July until December 2025.
  • Applicants can also apply for a fixed-term role from January 2026 July 2026.
  • Teaching: Primarily Key Stage 1 and 2, with some possible teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Must be confident in teaching Maths to a high standard.
  • This role is based in a hospital school classroom, with the potential to deliver teaching on the wards when required.
