A healthcare provider in Goole is seeking a motivated prescriptions administrator to work 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing repeat medication requests, managing pathology results, and ensuring effective communication with patients and clinicians. You must have GCSEs in English and Maths, excellent communication skills, and ideally experience in a GP practice. Flexibility is essential for covering annual leave and sickness within the team.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic prescriptions administrator to join our team at Ash Grove Medical Centre, you will provide safe and efficient patient focused prescription service, ensuring the timely processing of repeat medication requests, effective communication with clinicians and patients and accurate management of pathology results and clinical documents.
The post is for 24 hours per week working Tuesday - Friday.
Flexibility is essential for this role and the successful candidate will be expected to cover their fair share of annual leave and sickness within the team.
Key responsibilities:
Process repeat prescription requests in accordance with practice policy and prescribing protocols.
Issue authorised repeat medications accurately and within agreed timescales.
Manage the daily workflow of pathology results
Process incoming clinical correspondence, letters and documents in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and up to date patient recprds ising the clinical syustme
Ash Grove Medical Centre is CQC rated 'Good' across all five areas. We are a large GP Training practice with 13,000 patients based in Knottingley with a branch surgery in Eggborough
Ash Grove Medical Centre is led by four GP Partners working alongside the Practice Manager
Our clinical team is supported by Salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants
We have a large non clinical team of patient coordinators , administrative and prescription administators.
The prescription administrator will play a key role in supporting safe and effective patient care through the management of prescriptions, pathology results and clinical documentation. They will act as a central point of contact between patients and clinicians, ensuring high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and governance in line with NHS and CQC requirements
