Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Salary: £34,397 - £46,388 per annum

Contract: Full-time or Part-time

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) to join a school where teamwork, professional development and pupil progress are at the heart of everything they do.

Role Overview
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary age range (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) to cover teachers during their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
  • Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and curriculum areas.
  • Ensure continuity of learning by following the class teacher's planning and providing effective feedback.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged.
  • Uphold the school's behaviour policy and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with year group teams to contribute to the wider life of the school when needed.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working within a primary school setting is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
