Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a leading social housing contractor on an ongoing basis. This role involves carrying out extra works and reactive plumbing tasks across occupied and void properties. A van will be provided, and a valid DBS check is required due to the nature of the sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and additional works in residential properties
• Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and safely
• Work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations and to high quality standards
• Maintain clear records of work completed

Requirements

• Valid DBS Check (or willingness to obtain)
• JIB-PMES Card - Plumbing & Mechanical Services
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate (UKATA or IATP approved)
• Proven experience in domestic plumbing, ideally within social housing
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (for van use)
