Kids Club playworker

Playworker – Kids Club (Before and After School Care)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45–9:00am and 3:00–5:30pm (term time only)

Pay: Pay Scale B3, approx. £12.85 per hour

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Playworker to join our Kids Club team at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School CV31 2LJ. This is a part-time role supporting children before and after school in a safe, happy, and fun environment.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome children at the start and end of the school day
  • Supervise play and a range of engaging activities
  • Help prepare and serve light snacks
  • Support positive behaviour and encourage good friendships
  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
Person specification
  • Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships
  • Is patient, approachable and reliable
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Is able to be proactive and create fun, inclusive play opportunities
  • Will help uphold our Catholic ethos and commitment to inclusion and kindness
