Job description

Are you a future Plant Supervisor and want to become experienced in the production of Readymix Concrete or just eagerly looking for your next role? Then please read on! We are currently recruiting for a Plant Supervisor to join the fantastic Readymix 'RMX' team working on one of Europe's largest current infrastructure projects at one of our sites in the Banbury/Daventry area, situated on the border where 3 county's meet Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Safety and operational standards are fundamental aspects of the role with cost control, people management, delivery to customer needs and performance improvement being key. The Plant Supervisor will be working within the RMX operations on our plant, working on plant compliance with business policies and procedures; ensuring legislative compliance is also a strong aspect of the role.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Delivery of toolbox talks
  • Manage all aspects of daily production
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues and business partners
  • Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard
  • Batch concrete to meet customer needs whilst meeting internal quality requirements
  • Be open to candidates with limited experience as full training will be given; experience from within a similar heavy industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • The role is a DAYS role where flexibility is key as we also operate nights and weekends to meet our production needs; overtime available
  • Experience in plant operations
