SMS are currently recruiting for a Planning and Performance Analyst to join our growing team. This role is focused on delivering accurate, timely, and insightful data analysis and forecasting to drive proactive key business decisions-making across the organisation.
The successful candidate will support the team in providing the business with a clear view of performance, trends, and opportunities through high quality business analysis aligned to the overall business strategy and plans. You will lead targeted projects to address emerging issues, helping the business remain agile and financially sound.
The role will initially be responsible for supporting the Industrial and Commercial Gas and Electricity area of the business but will extend to some reporting for the overall Planning and Performance function.
An element of overnight travel will be involved in the role within the United Kingdom.
This role is offered on a 40 hour contract per week, Monday to Friday, from either our Bullrush or Hoyland Warehouse on a hybrid bases.
Please note:While the role offers hybrid working, candidates should be prepared to travel to operational sites to engage directly with teams and gain a deep understanding of processes, ensuring maximum impact. Initially, the Analyst position will involve some travel to Cardiff.
