Qualifications

• PIP2 accreditation or readiness to work toward accreditation with support.
• Strong grounding in safeguarding frameworks and experience dealing with vulnerable victims.
• Proven ability to manage highly sensitive investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage investigations in line with PIP2 standards.
• Take ownership of RASSO cases and maintain strong victim engagement.
• Investigate Adult Abuse and Child Abuse offences.
• Prepare and present case files for charging decisions.
• Conduct and oversee interviews and evidence handling.
• Liaise with safeguarding partners and health professionals.
• Use intelligence and digital opportunities to progress enquiries.
• Attend court and provide clear evidence.
• Support less experienced investigators.
