Overview
Support needed with independence. 8 hours per week permanent position.
Preferred days/times: Two four-hour sessions per week. Days and times to be agreed.
Responsibilities
- Goal setting and supporting to reach goals by discussing the steps they need to take
- Independence skills
- Access and building confidence to go to community activities
- Support to build a weekly/daily routine
- Sometimes support may be needed with putting on socks and applying cream; the client wants to be as independent as possible
Logistics
- PA will need their own vehicle and a full, clean UK driving licence
- The client will pay mileage for going to and from community activities
- DBS paid for by funding authority (if you don\'t already have a certificate)

- Segmental peripheral neuralgia - nerve damaged
- Hepatic fibrosis - liver damage
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Poor mobility
- Emotionally unstable personality disorder/Personality disorder
- Anxiety disorder linked to medication
- Subclinical hypothyroidism (TSH mildly elevated)
- Reticulocytosis
- Obstructive sleep apnoea
- Posttraumatic stress disorder
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Obesity
- Being assessed for autism
