Pensions Litigation Senior Associate

Our client is an award-winning Top 50 commercial law firm with an office in central Bristol, who are currently seeking a 5+ PQE Pensions Litigation Solicitor to join their Chambers and Legal 500 rated Pension Team.

This highly regarded Pensions Litigation Team is offering an exciting opportunity to engage in complex, high-value work with prestigious clients, where you'll take on significant responsibility from day one.

Our client are seeking am ambitious Pensions Litigation Lawyer to join them at the Senior Associate level where you can expect to collaborate with leading Partners who are experts in their field on a wide variety of pension disputes, including multi-party Part 8 rectification and construction claims, Part 7 professional negligence cases, regulatory actions, and member complaints.

The team represents trustees, employers, and representative members and advise on issues with scheme documentation, such as drafting errors and invalid documentation, negligence claims involving pension scheme advisers, acting for both claimants and defendants, administration errors, under- and over-payments, GMP equalisation, tax issues, and benefit rectification projects, member disputes, including IDRP complaints, cases before the Pensions Ombudsman and Financial Ombudsman Service, data protection and cybersecurity concerns, regulatory matters and disputes and providing advice to FCA-regulated firms offering SIPPs and SSASs on pension and investment-related issues.

As part of the wider dispute resolution team you will also have the opportunity to contribute to broader professional negligence and commercial disputes.

You will need experience in working on pension litigation matters, be 5+ PQE, you will be motivated, and team orientated. The firm is invested in employee wellbeing and are offering a highly competitive salary together with an attractive benefits package.
