Overview

PDI TECHNICIAN: 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This role is with a fast-moving, progressive group expanding to meet demand in their sales department, preparing cars for resale.

This is a crucial role in the business, offering a competitive package compared with local peers. The salary for a Qualified or Experienced Technician is £33,600.

Responsibilities
  • General servicing and light mechanical repairs
  • Getting used cars retail-ready for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head unit replacements — no heavy mechanics)
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles following manufacturer guidelines
  • PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)
  • Complete the final quality check on all vehicles
