A local government organization in Cambridge is looking for a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities. This role involves enabling individuals to live independently, providing practical support, and collaborating with a small team. Flexible shifts on a 4-week rota are required, with comprehensive training offered. The position starts at £13.26 per hour, with additional benefits, including a wellbeing package and development opportunities.
Alder Close Supported Living & Respite is based in the town of March and supports adults with a learning disability to live within supported living accommodation.
The role of Support Worker is to enable adults with a disability to live as independently as possible and to enjoy lifestyles they choose to. We support and empower individuals to enhance the quality of their life, maximise potential and continue to promote and develop independence skills within their home or whilst staying at Respite.

The role requires working on a 4-week rota with possible shifts during the week, weekends, and bank holidays (8am‑10pm). Two weekend shifts per month and sleep‑in duties are required. Additional enhancements are paid for weekends and bank holidays.
Start pay is £13.26 per hour (£19.89 Saturday hours, £23.60 Sunday hours). You will receive comprehensive training and excellent career development opportunities.
