A leading design and consulting firm is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their Graduate Programme. Ideal candidates will have a completed MArch and a strong creative eye. This role involves working on diverse projects and contributing to design processes using software like Revit and AutoCAD. The firm offers a competitive salary and a supportive environment for professional growth.
We are looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to be based in either our London, Bristol or Reading office, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme. You will join a supportive and successful team with exciting career opportunities, gain great client exposure and professional development and work in an innovative and collaborative environment.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects including community, residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the UK. The team’s clients are wide ranging and include landowners, developers, Local Authorities, Registered Providers and national house builders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to really put your design skills into practice! You'll be working with a Project Architect and using design software like Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp to create visual presentations and diagrams. You'll be a key part of the design process, helping to take projects from initial ideas all the way to getting approvals and projects built. You'll also learn how to analyse sites and the surrounding area to make sure your designs fit perfectly, and work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines across Stantec.
To be successful, you will ideally have some experience working on residential or mixed-use projects in the UK and have completed your Masters (Part 2). You'll be working with design information packages and contribute to design and access statements. A strong creative eye and excellent communication skills are a must, along with knowledge of building regulations. Willingness to learn new software or techniques is highly valued, along with organisation and time management skills, especially when juggling deadlines.
We are an RIBA-chartered practice and will provide you with the necessary support to progress your career towards becoming an Architect.
If you have a passion for good quality place making, and would like to further your professional design experience, we want to hear from you.
