A leading healthcare staffing organization is looking for a Paediatric Dietitian to join their team. You will provide high-quality nutrition care to children and families, manage enteral feeding caseloads, and deliver outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics and experience in paediatric dietetics. This role offers flexible shifts and professional development opportunities.
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust provides a comprehensivepaediatric dietetic service across community and hospital settings. You will bea member of the paediatric dietetic team, delivering high-quality nutritioncare to children, families, and carers, while offering specialist advice andguidance to other healthcare professionals. The role involves runningoutpatient clinics, providing dietetic support in special schools, managing acaseload of children on home enteral feeding, and contributing to inpatientservices at Lister Hospital, including neonatal care.
Band 6 applicants will also be considered.
As a valued member of the paediatric dietetic team, youwill assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate individualised dietetic care, conductgroup-based education in community and virtual settings, triage referrals toensure timely interventions, and monitor children on home enteral feeding. Youmay also provide inpatient cover when required and facilitate smoothtransitions of care between hospital and home. Collaborative working withmultidisciplinary teams is essential to provide patient-centred, safe, andeffective care.
