A leading healthcare provider in East Sussex seeks a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse to join a busy Emergency Department. The role involves delivering high-quality care, mentoring junior staff, and managing paediatric patients. Required qualifications include being a registered Children's Nurse and holding mentorship qualifications. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to shaping children's emergency care.
We are very busy Emergency Department, treating on average 50,000 patients a year. We are looking for a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse to join our pro-active and dynamic team.
Are you a qualified registered Children's Nurse with broad and relevant post registration experience at Band 5 or above in ED nursing or general paediatrics? Do you hold a mentorship qualification and have a child protection qualification or experience? Do you have leadership skills and can you effectively contribute to team working in a busy and dynamic work environment?
This is your opportunity to help shape the development of children's designated emergency care area within Emergency Department. You will have the ability to assess and commence high impact interventions supported by PGDs while awaiting assessment by paediatrician.
