Overview

Job overview We are looking for a Band Paediatric Critical Care Nurse who would like to do per week on secondment to the Childrens Research Team to support the growing level of clinical research delivery within PCC. This is initially for year with the possibility of extending this.

Main duties

  • Working with senior and team support, you will be responsible for effectively managing and delivering NIHR Portfolio adopted research studies.
  • You will be working alongside existing research staff to further embed research into Paediatric Critical Care with a particular focus on training and supporting clinical staff in the delivery of the Pivotal Study.
  • Tasks will involve staff education, the identification of eligible patients, patient recruitment, data management and administration, which will be facilitated by good communication, organisation and attention to detail as well as being able to work autonomously.
  • The post holder will actively promote research across the Childrens directorate.
