Overview

SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIST REQUIRED. This independently owned Specialist Orthodontic Practice is looking to recruit 1-2 Specialist Orthodontist Practitioners, who are able to work between two/three orthodontic clinics.

You will be required to work 3 days at the Reading practice and 2 days at the Theale practice, with one session per month at Pangbourne (some flexibility available).

Surgery hours

Monday 8.30am – 4.15pm
Tuesday 10.15am – 7.00pm
Wednesday 8.30am – 5.15pm
Thursday 10.15am – 7.00pm
Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday 8.30am – 1.00pm (one Saturday per month expected)

Remuneration and structure

6000-8000 UOA available, currently paid at £54.80 per UOA.
45% NHS.
45-50% Private (sliding scale). There is superb private potential.

Sites

The Reading site consists of 8 surgeries, the Theale site has 2 surgeries (with the addition of a third surgery in 2024) and Pangbourne has 1 surgery.

Qualifications and team

Candidates must be on the GDC Specialist Register. Candidates will work with an excellent team of managers, nurses, treatment co-ordinators and orthodontic therapists.
